August has been quite the month for K-Pop: we've seen the debuts of SM and YG rookie groups Red Velvet and Winner, the latter managing to take the number 1 spot with Empty, and the debut of Taemin as a solo artist. Former giants SECRET and KARA both made flawless comebacks and SISTAR leapt back to the top with "I Swear". Orange Caramel also came back with My Copycat and a video in the style of "Where's Wally?". This month also saw the return of Super Junior and EXID, both of whom had their first comeback in 2 years.
