MV Review- Fiestar's "One More"

I'll admit that when I watched the video this morning that I really didn't expect much for this. Not because I don't like Fiestar but because I've never paid too much attention to them and have only heard three songs from them. So I was quite surprised as to how impressed I was with "One More".

Much to the dismay of numerous kpop fans, the group have gone for a sexy concept this time like with most female groups. Personally I couldn't care less because so far we've been getting great songs out of this sexy trend and already groups have been elevated in status thanks to it, so as far as I'm concerned keep 'em coming I guess. Unlike a lot of others though the song itself seems to be about sex, specifically a man who can't last in bed and give his partner release, leaving them wondering if they should even bother with him.

Linzy's probably gonna be my bias in this group.

Meanwhile, the MV's actually more tame than others; the only overtly sexual thing being Jei squirming on a bed. The stylists did a fabulous job here though, all five look
beautiful and the black and white dresses they wear in the dance shots are wonderful.

Cao Lu ain't happy with being second favourite.

The song is a fair bit stronger than their other singles, not surprising when Shinsadong Tiger, who this year also did the flawless "B.B.B". I'm surprised at how good all the members sounded though, not just Linzy. At first the instrumentation seemed very weird though; I thought I had it open in two tabs by accident and ended up frantically searching for the non-existent tab, but luckily this was only for the first listen.

I repeat: the stylists did a really good job.

My main gripe is the breaths right before the chorus as the music stops and it felt jarring. The rap was quite awkward and I feel it could have been done without, instead just building on the bridge more
Erm... I'm honestly struggling to come up with more because there isn't too much this song does wrong. It's catchy, it has a great beat and the girls don't even sound like a rookie group.

Overall after coming in with no expectations whatsoever I was shocked at the quality of "One More". I really hope they do better with this song and keep this up in future releases.
