I could cry right now.
When it comes to their title tracks Apink rarely fail to deliver, with the only real weak point being last year's "Mr. Chu", but just over an hour ago the music video for "Remember", the lead single off their second full album, and it's a steaming pile of turd.
Okay, maybe that's a slight exaggeration, but it just doesn't work at all - the whole song seems determined to make the group's nickname "Basic Pink" more relevant than ever, but the worst part is the chorus. For some reason the composer decided to make the chorus more interesting by changing the key halfway through, but as a result the two halves are so disconnected that it sounds more like "Remember" has two pre-choruses, and suddenly Eunji's main parts in the song are completely redundant.
It was a brave move by the composer, but it ultimately turned out to be a bad one, so bad that it pretty much ruins any impact the song could, and should, have. Of course, Korea are so enchanted by Apink's 100% original and unique image that the song will probably storm the charts for at least a couple of days, but this is a huge step down for the group after their fabulous "Luv", and easily their worst single by a long shot.
At least they look pretty in the MV though!

Hayoung doesn't look too happy, perhaps she hates "Remember" too? |
